About 2 months ago I wasn't able to connect to some of my favourite gmod servers, I don't know what to do. I've put the firewall down on my computer, I've cleaned it many times, got a new router even. I restarted my computer to it's factory setting's. and deleted all my mods from gmod. Please, I'm out of ideas and solutions.
PLEEASE! I just wanna play on my old servers again...
Maybe they went down, simple as that.
And if you're really getting depressed for not being able to connect to a gmod server, seek some serious help.
Maybe the old servers don't exist anymore?
They do! That's the thing, all of my friends can play on them and have no problem. I don't understand what is wrong with my computer.
Well, you start by telling us what happens if you try to join those servers, pictures, console logs, etc.
What happens when you try to join other servers?
Maybe you were banned ?

There are the servers I'm no longer able to get to. 2 of them are owned by one my friends, and he's already stated that he wouldn't ban me.

This is the server I used to go on everyday. It works fine for all of my other friends, but this is what I get.
I'm able to join other servers just fine, (example: gmod tower) it's just that I'm not able to get on all of the servers like I used to if that makes sense.
This server doesn't exist anymore:

Maybe it changed IP?
We just got the new IP and it's 192.223.24.11:27015
He's on there right now.

Well, it's either your are IP blocked from their server, or you are still trying to connect to a non existent IP.
There are 16 people online right now, I'm not IP blocked they just checked. The IP works just fine for the server yet when I try to force myself to join. It fails after 4 retries.
There are only 4 possible explanations for this:
1) You are STILL trying to connect to an invalid IP ( Unlikely )
2) Your firewall blocks the connection to this specific server ( Very unlikely )
3) Their firewall has your IP blocked
4) Their game server has your IP banned ( cfg/banned_ip.cfg or cfg/banned_user.cfg )
Figure it out. I can't think of anything else that can cause this...
