Just Setup SteamCMD Dedicated Server: "CD Key authentication invalid for internet servers"

Alright so for starters, YES, I own a LEGAL version of the game, I have almost 600 hours on it and bought it about 2 years ago on steam, from the market. Last night I installed SteamCMD for testing purposes and got all the settings and what not setup, now when I try to connect to the server from my Gmod client, it gives me the "CD Key authentication invalid for internet servers". Anyhelp? I've done the magical "just restart Steam" solution found on the internet and that didn't change anything.

Have you tried restarting your PC, changing download region, relogging into your Steam account?

What are your launch parameters for srcds.exe?

Yes, yes, and yes. My launch parameters are this:

srcds.exe -console -game garrysmod +gamemode "sandbox" +map gm_flatgrass +maxplayers 1
exit

Are you running the srcds instance from the same PC you are playing Garry's Mod on?

Set the maxplayers to something above 1.
