Is this specs good?

Hi,
I currently have 3 gmod server we are looking to upgrade.
We are currently running our server via VPS and we want to take a dedicated to minimize lags who make the game experience horrible.

Core™ i5-2300
4c / 4t 2.8 GHz+
16 Go Ram
1 To HDD
100 Mbps

Is it good to run a single server (darkrp) with 40 - 50 players?

I have a dedicated which is perfect for 2 server, and the last one with the specs told before to run a server with darkrp with at least 35-40 players

For me it is the price of the server that will cost the most, but I found a server with ddos protection that has [URL="http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1435125"]24 cores[/URL].

Here are the specs:

DDoS protection isn't mentioned anywhere on their order page or thread on WHT.

That CPU isn't particularly strong either for Garry's Mod servers.

If you want to run 24 16 slot TTT servers no.

If you want to run 1-2 large population Garry's Mod servers or sandbox servers yes.
