I absolutely get no panic error when playing on GMod Singleplayer or Multiplayer with this laptop that i've been using. Recently i tried to play on my brother's computer and it kept giving me the Lua Panic Error! every time i would join a server. These spec's below were generated using the Speccy Program. Something is randomly causing people's computer to crash with the panic error for whatever reason. This laptop i have been using for the past 3 months, i have downloaded over 70+ workshop addon's and have not had the panic error in those previous months, even while playing on the exact same server i had played on. However, My brother's computer i played yesterday around 3:00 AM (US Pacific Standard) with the same 70+ addon's and within 2 minute's of playing on THE EXACT SAME SERVER it crashes with the panic error. Link's i've read, but no one found out the answer. https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1486766 https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1521751 https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1518979 https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1458542 https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1257879 https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=991421 https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1516557 https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1294132 https://steamcommunity.com/app/4000/discussions/1/864971765480436065/ http://steamcommunity.com/app/4000/discussions/1/541907867748408649 http://steamcommunity.com/app/4000/discussions/1/496880503076331969
Bump.
Bump. This is still a problem.
Check your logs for LUA errors, even just a little over time. They pile up and cause this error.
if you are overclocking at all, stop. this causes issues with gmod for whatever reason. unsub to all addons and delete addons folder. If you have done these then i dont know. iv been working with one of my admins trying to get theirs to work of weeks. Make sure video card drivers are up to date (go to the card makers website and download latest dont rely on windows update to do that)
Make sure video card drivers are up to date (go to the card makers website and download latest dont rely on windows update to do that
Video card was already updated to the latest drive.
and deleting the addon's folder won't really do anything.
Oh lord you are wrong on that one, you may of unsubbed from them but this doesn't always delete them. Try typing menu_cleanupgmas in console when you first start your game and also try delete the contents of your addon folder. Checking game cache via steam may also help.

I typed the command menu_cleanupgmas in the console, all it really did was spam my console with errors. Already tried several time's verifying the game cache, has not worked.
try making sure the only game that is mounted for gmod is css, (i remember some issues with tf2 causing this issue a while back)
try making sure the only game that is mounted for gmod is css, (i remember some issues with tf2 causing this issue a while back)
TF2 is not installed, and the only game that is mounted is CSS.
verify css?
verify css?
Sorry for late reply. I have verified CSS, it still provides the error.
