When I launch Garry's Mod it goes to the blue loading screen for 7 secs then it closes and a pop up says hl2.exe has stopped working.
Open up your Steam Library and right click on Garry's Mod. Click on "Properties", and then go to the "Local Files" tab and click on the "verify Game cache" button. It'll scan your Garry's Mod to see if anything is wrong with the game's files and reinstall the correct files.
Run Garry's Mod once this is done.
Still not working :(

Not that I can recall but if you look on the steam forums there are lots of people experiencing this problem.:smile:
Start removing addons until the game loads.
You'll eventually find the one that probably started to cause your game to crash.
I had to do that once before because a lot of the content/addons I had were conflicted and causing issues in my game.
I just needed to update Team Fortress 2
