[Urgent]Gmod error upon launch: DirectX is out of date.

It said my directx is out of date when i attempt to launch gmod, so i decided to do what it said and download and install the update. It failed, i looked at the logs, and it says i supposedly have that version of directx already. I have tried many things. This is my last resort. Please help! Maybe even allow users to attempt to run gmod without the latest version of directx, what ever you do, just make work! I just bought this game, and I don't want to have to wait a long time to get a new computer.
