Hello, Having a few issues connecting to a multiplayer server. It crashes after workshop complete, and after reviewing the dump file, this is the error I got: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE Did a check up on google to see if anyone else had experienced this. A few posts from a 2011 TF2 update, and 2 posts on facepunch which both went unsolved, https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1474741 and https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1476243 http://dumps.metastruct.uk.to/dumper.py?dump=hl2_160706_crash_2016_7_24T12_36_53C0.mdmp Wondering if anyone who is skilled could have a quick check over the dump file to hopefully spread light on what's going wrong? (Game was just downloaded, and game cache verified, also tried putting "-dxlevel 95 -autoconfig" in the launch options. Once I got to Sending client information, but it took so long to get there I had timed out of the server. Big thanks in advance, Bings :)
I had the same problem 1-2 days ago. add to your commandline those settings: nvm >w< edit: maybe you got many addons installed? edit2: Your ram (~3GB) seems really low too, gmod itself needs a minimum of ~2GB, best would be 8GB, and then you run it in a VM, the OS needs RAM too, then background apps etc, try increasing the RAM of the VM maybe?

Also no addons are downloaded excluding the ones the server downloads onto the client. Thanks for the response though, ill make it 64 bit and try again!
