Hello, I recently ran into a problem with my dupe files and Save files.
Whenever I try to access my dupes or save in game the pictures are just a gray photo, and neither will do anything, if I click deploy with the dupes nothing happens, and if I click load with this saves nothing happens.
I linked my saves and dupes folder in [URL="https://www.dropbox.com/s/7u1839hoihti9kj/Ranger89%27s%20BROKEN%20Gmod%20files.zip?dl=0"]This Dropbox Link[/URL], so you can see the files yourself and hopefully fix them.
I would really appreciate if you could fix this, I have a lot of work in these files, and I would be devastated if I lost them.

P.S. I know they're in the files, because there are still data in each .dupe & .gms file.
Well the bad news is that most of your dupes are corrupted and gone permanently.
Do this for me:
1) Add -noworkshop and -noaddons to your Steam Launch Options for Garry's Mod.
Try saving/duping then.
2) Try saving/duping a very small amount of props, like lets say 10 props roped together. Does it work then?
Do you mean most of the dupes are corrupted, or all of the dupes? If not all can you sent what works.
Also Can you explain how to add the launch options, what will this accomplish, and why to dupe in small amounts.
Ok I've done that, what will this fix? Also When you said "most of the dupes are corrupted" do you mean most, or all? If you ment most can you send the dupes that work?

As for your broken files, you can find out which are not broken by opening them with notepad ( Not the .jpg obviously ). If it starts with "GM", it is not broken.
Any new dupes or saves I make will now work properly, however my gmod isn't broken, it's just the files, They got deleted from a SSD along with the saves and I recovered them from the wiped SSD. Thank you for telling me how to find the dupe files that still work. Is there anything I can do about the saves also?

Oh, so it isn't fault of the game that the files are corrupted. Made no sense to begin with.
Again people feel the need withdraw crucial information about the case...
The same applies to your saves as it does to your dupes.
