Whenever I try to join a server, when it gets to 'Sending Client Info' it brings me back to the title screen. When I join again in the same session, it will let me join but then red text on top right will say 'Connection Error'. I really wan't to play again so please help!

Same issue ive had this problem for 3 months, server devs have been unable to help me my only way of solving this ive had luck with invovles clean 100% uninstalls of gmod. Any custom file downloads corrupt gmod again.
It seems to me like your computer isn't even connecting to the steam servers at all.
I'll just assume you're typing this message from the same computer, so you must have some sort of connection to the internet. Possibly try running a few virus scans or maybe try temporarily disabling your anti-virus (in the case you have one) just to test it.
Common viruses often block access to specific ports through a proxy, etc.
I'd also recommend a wired connection if you're not on one already, as Wifi is known to drop in and out.
