So recently I've noticed that I get random keyboard inputs of "W" whenever I have Gmod open. This effects both in game and out of game and only seems to happen when Gmod is open. I suspect maybe a rouge addon or maybe even a glitch with Gmod itself due to settings. Anyone else have this issue? The only other instance of this happening that I have seen was a report from [URL="https://steamcommunity.com/app/4000/discussions/1/364043054111326871/"]this guy here.[/URL]
Symptoms happen randomly and my keyboard behaves as if someone is holding down the W key.

Does this happen after you exit the steam overlay? Are you holding W as you enter the overlay, and closing the overlay without holding it?

It happens in game/console/overlay/any gamemode. Out of game in notepad/run/browser/anywhere that takes text input.
Hmm, are you for sure it is gmod causing this issue, and not some sort of computer virus?

The thought crossed my mind but this literally [B]only happens when Garry's Mod is running.[/B] I've check the usual places and other things to determine if maybe it wasn't Gmod but my searches turned up nothing. I've had Gmod running sandboxed before just to prevent anything from happening to my PC from the wonderful Gmod community and thought maybe there was some interference with my security. I've sense disabled everything that interacts with Gmod and it's [I][U]extra[/U][/I] processes and reset the Gmod settings to defaults but the symptoms still persist.
