For some reason I have noticed that my gmod can't load into some servers first time. For example, when I joined perpheads it will pop up with a box saying Disconnect: ETHAN BRADBERRY timed out.
This never used to happen but for some reason it is starting to become a problem. I could join PerpHeads first try with no problems but now it is just starting to time me out. This is when I have made a new account. When I made my new account it was starting to become a problem and I have no idea if that changes anything...
DarkRP can load fine but things like perpheads and need for speed rp just times me out whereas before it was fine :/
I can explain more if I need to but that should sum it up.

I have same problem and pretty sure plenty of servers have it too but havent noticed (yet) but I see nobody cares that there is bug in game so whatever somehow tell your players to rejoin if they get stuck on sending client info it fixes issue most of time.
That really should only happen of servers with many many players and addons (more time to load addons, more in-game data and such)
Maybe try changing cl_timeout?
