Im originally coming from this Thread: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1556407 Basically its a way of optimization by combining models wherefore "the staticprop rendering" decreases a lot. I decided to implement this in my map. Now for me the performance did NOT increase but rather decrease. For others however this is not the case and it works as described in the thread I linked above. Here you can see what I mean: +showbudget while I am playing on this map: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/q25g2YG.jpg[/img_thumb] +showbudget while 03C0 is playing on this map: [img_thumb]https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/818937737346768004/5B42FC14F5453F716B3CCA2CC190DBD6F245CEB5/[/img_thumb] So why are my Swap buffers exploding and what exaclty are swap buffers for? The VDC doesnt help that much as all listed causes for high swap buffers do not apply (to my knowledge). I hope that I will get some help as this is happening on every map... [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/c0yiaxu.jpg[/img_thumb]
Do you have any programs that hook in to game rendering installed? Things like in-game overlays or performance monitors. Try running the game with them disabled if you do.

I have an intel processor so sadly that means my laptop also comes with tintel graphics drivers. after deactivating those the performance was horrid but the swap buffers did not explode! is there any way to have Nvidia drivers installed anyways? [editline]a[/editline] I might be retarded ... hold on Ill figure it out
