Hello
I asked about my issue on Steam's Garry's mod discussions but got no replies. I am experiencing issues with lighting. I use default light in Render tab but it just won't illuminate the world. I provided a picture of the issue in the link below. From the light settings
the room should be bright AF now and yet somehow remains dark. I had no problems with lighting before, it just suddenly appeared and I have no idea what is causing it.

That's not a default tool/entity, its from an addon. The issue most likely lies in either the map or that addon that you are using.

Thank you kindly for your reply. I am not sure if it is an addon or default entities. I just clicked on Render tab and lights then I picked the default light which I use mostly. I used this map before and there were no problems illuminating. You can check it here: http://deadpoolbutt.deviantart.com/art/Night-Alley-652725894
I made this in gmod awhile ago. Map is the same as the one in the issues picture. I will try disabling advanced light entities later when I have the time and see if it works then.
Once again thank you for replying.
Update.
I just tried to give it another try with lights and to my surprise light entities are now missing. I clicked on Entities tab where there was suppose to be a Render "folder" where lights entities were but it's now gone. Go figure. Are there any similar light entity mods I could use? Because now I am even unable to use Advanced light entities since they were in the Render folder also.
It works now!
I uninstalled garry's mod and deleted the folder from Steam. Then I reinstalled it. The lights are back and working despite the Advanced light entities error message while loading the map. Still I don't know why they were gone in the first place.
Anyway consider this fixed :)
