Legacy addons, .gmas and workshop .gmas broken after reinstalling Garry's Mod

So I had to reinstall Gmod because I deleted the appmanifest_4000.acf file "accidently" and Steam forced me to reinstall it. But after the reinstall strange stuff with addons is happening.

1. Legacy addons do not work at all
2. .gmas don't work either
3. When I subscribe to workshop submissions, the .gmas don't appear in the addons folder after launching Gmod.

All of this worked perfectly fine before the reinstall. Help pls

In main menu, in the Saves or Demos menus, press the "Open Folder" option.

Is the path to the opened folder still in C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/garrysmod/?

What the hell why is it in the Portal 2 folder?

Did Gmod just install all of itself into the Portal 2 game folder...

Um so is there any way to fix this without reinstalling gmod, and how you fix it from installing itself into the Portal 2 folder?

You might wanna contact Steam Support about this as they have the best knowledge of their own platform.

I personally would go for a complete reinstall by uninstalling GMod through Steam, deleting all gmod files manually, backing up whatever necessary someplace else and then redownloading the game from scratch.
