When I launch Gmod It says running and the window opens but i'm still on my desktop. It then disapears and running turns into syncing for a millisecond then disapears as well.
I have tried:
Restarting my computer
Verifying my gmod files
Verifying other source games and gmod
uninstalling Overwolf overlay
uninstalling gmod and all addons + the gmod folder as a whole
uninstalling all of my other source games
and restarting steam.
Idk know what the problem is and neither does my friend please help.

Try to verify the integrity of game files > right click on the game in steam library > click properties > select local files tab > click Verify integrity of game files. Or it might be the direct x level you are running.
I've already done that.
Have you tried going to Properties > Set Launch Options and using -windowed -noborder?
I was having problems with my GMod recently not starting up, Razer Synapse was causing it. No clue why...
I changed my resolution and now my game starts but doesn't open... please help
