• Is it possible to change bumpmaps on default playermodels?

So far, I seem to be able to change the diffuse textures on the vanilla playermodels, but whenever I put a bumpmap texture in, it doesn't change. As well for the custom .vmt files not being loaded up. Is there any possiblities to change them clientside without a script? It looks pretty awful when [URL="http://puu.sh/vD30P/0dba2b52ea.JPG"]it looks like that.[/URL]
It's not bump maps, it's rim lighting.
well, alright, but is it possible to add custom .vmt's? the skin i used has no rimlight command, yet it's still showing
Yes you'll have to find the default vmt's from the pak files, edit them and put them in your garrysmod directory as they are in the pak file. E.G PAK: Materials/Players/Breen/Breenhead.vmt Garrysmod: Materials/Players/Breen/Breenhead.vmt
