Hi Facepunch fourms! I'm a new member :D I just have a question, the video I'm about to show you has a cool "sliding effect" with the text chat, it looks smooth. My game just makes it appear instantly, any help would be nice :D (Sorry if this is the wrong thread!)

What's your FPS? If you have an insanely high FPS there's a good chance the Lerp value will be much quicker (Assuming that they're using FrameTime() and your fps_max is higher than 300)

It's around 50 most of the time, is there a command or anything? I'm pretty bad when it comes to GMOD commands.

I probably should have asked this, but are you running the same version of the chatbox addon as the one in the video?

Ah, you're right. Very similar styles.
This is a server addition and you can't change yours on your own PC.
Your post makes it out like you want this feature personally for every server - not possible.
