How to import character models into Garry's mod

Hello everyone!

A couple days ago, I posted a question here asking how to import COD NPCs V3 into Garry's mod. A couple people replied, but I am still having trouble. I would have responded to them, but I was out of town for the 4th of July weekend. If I remember correctly, they stated just to load the COD NPCs into my models. However, I do not know exactly what they mean. As I stated earlier, I am very new to Garry's Mod. In fact, if this works out, these COD NPCs will be the first models I will be importing into Garry's Mod on my computer. So, if it is not too much trouble, please give specific instructions. I have attempted to look for online tutorials on how to import the COD NPCs, but none exist (at least from what I could find).
