The problem: When I connect to my own server A. my internet goes to complete crap (about 4mbps) B. It gets stuck on sending client info and the server's console shows that I have timed out.
What I have tried: Verifying my game. Flushing my DNS.
P.S. This issue only occurs when I connect to my own server.
It would great if anyone can tell me how to fix this issue.

If you aren't connecting over a domain you shouldn't need to flush your DNS cache.
How are you running your server, via a dedicated server or from the game itself?

Dedicated server...I have since tried reinstalling and also unsubscribing from all addons :/
Solved: Addon creating error in server workshop collection.
