i just built a script which clears all the cache, then starts the server and waits for the cache file to spawn. if spawned, it will be copied to web-server as bz2 :3 but it's local... using remote-server is possible but needs to beconfigured

could you need this?

what the script is doing:
-cleaning gmod's cache-directory (removing all .dua files)
-getting a list of all files in the gmod's cache-directory (should be about 0)
-starting the server (background, of course)
-checking each 3 seconds if a new file is created
-if so, and the file is names .dua, proceeding:
-cleaning fast-dl cache dir
-copying the new .dua-file into there
-bzip2'ing it

EDIT:
i tried symlinking... won't work ;D

Are you offering this publicly? Symlinking does work on windows, but only for a fast dl on that server,computer.

Get GoodSync to sync your FastDL cache, been using it for many months, never had any problems.
