• SRCDS: Mounting content?

I'm hosting a GMod server with HldsUpdateTool and srcds.exe, but I only get HL2 content. I want to have CS:S, TF2, etc. which are all games I own. How do I get it on the server. I DON'T want to have to install it into my HLServer games directory, because it wastes a ton of space. How do I do it? ---------------------------SOLVED----------------------------------------- ANOTHER QUESTION: How do I change the gamemode? I've been trying all day, and all the things I turned up didn't work. Please, only respond if you've tested it and it works. Thanks. SOLVED: changegamemode <mapname> <gamemodename> :D I knwo you people know. So reply.
help, please?
Use these with the command line. +sv_defaultgamemode "" (gamemode folder name goes in the quotes ex: "sandbox") +map "" (mapname ex: "gm_flatgrass") Also, you should never put the RCON Password in the .cfg, use the command line +rcon_password "" So it would looks something like: +sv_defaultgamemode "sandbox" +map "gm_flatgrass" +rcon_password "ahardtoguesspassword"
I... already solved that issue...
Fine then. Anyways, there isn't a way around getting the content onto the server. You just have to extract the GCFs.
Is that even legal? You sure there isn't a way to like provide a link to where my game is (C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/WillSmith1190)? Do I really have to install it with HldsUpdateTool.exe which basicly is having 2 CS:S on my hard drive when I'm never going to even host a CS:S server?
