I got on my server and gave my self ownership by going rcon_password my password then rcon ass_giveownership LIGHTS. I got my ownership, but when my friend joined the server he auto got server admin aswell, how do I change this?
Edit; also now the ass menu is not showing up. I binded it to x and when I hit x nothing comes up, when I look at console it says, "
Unknown command: +ass_menu
Unknown command: -ass_menu"

As for your friend getting auto admin, did you put his name and steam ID in the "Admin"+ group in the Garry's Mod users file (forgot what it was called) prior to downloading ASSMOD?

No, I have not, only one other friend has, and he gets auto admin as well.
I had a similar problem too, never got it fixed
assmod is unstable.
