Too Many Kids - Garry's Mod

Is it just me, or are there much more little kids in this game than others? I wouldn't mind, but they insist on always using their mics and just keep talking about EVERYTHING. They also usually end up being obnoxious and never follow the rules.

The way you talk is as if they choose to be a kid and they choose for there voice to be like that. Almost as if they are another species. I do dislike when kids with squeaky voices talk but they don't realize it. Did you know the voice you hear isnt the voice others hear? To them it may not sound squeaky or high pitched like you hear, so unless you tell them, you cant blame them. And second, i've met kids who play better then 25 year old men. In fact ive met alot of kids who are admins and do it well! (Impossible, I know) Im just tired of all these rants of how littile kids shouldn't play with "Normal people". Just realize there people too, and try to deal with it.

Fuck man don't even start with me... Playing a Dark RP server last night... Now let me say, WHOLE CP FORCE IS OVER 16+, AND BALLS ALL HAVE BEEN DROPPED LIKE ANCHORS. We were all hanging out on the roof, and were just goofing around talking about gun laws in Australia and America, and how the guys wanted to move to America for school, and try to stay. Some good laughs. You know what happens though? We get a hint that, "Gun-dealer is supporting the thieves" so we're all like, "kay" and goto a sewer base, and attempt to access whats up. You know what we get? A bunch of high bitched runts saying, "FUCK YOU NUBS", "WE CAN FARM PRINTERS LOL", "OH SHIT HIDE THE M4 SHIPMENT" we laughed our asses off, and broke the door open, and massacred them. We then take all their shipments, printers, and otherwise back to our base, and farm their shit. They raged... They bitched to the admin saying, "They rdmed, they broke nlr, they did blah blah" trying to frame us for every rule in the server's motd in hopes of getting minge justice. Then they get another shipment.. We got a note from a man I'll refer to as, "Yellow Bird" we bust the shit down... Arrest them this time. Take their shipments. Then go back to base. All they did for the ten minute jail period was, "YOU BROKE NLR! YOU BROKE THIS! YOU RDMED" and wouldn't shut up... So me and the cp chief go down there, and begin beating the living shit outta them with madcows fist tool. Then they rage to the admin saying, "THEY CAN'T DO THAT" and the admin just said, "Lol. You guys are idiots", and allowed us to just continuously beat the shit out of them. Once they were out they went back to their base, and yet again bought another shipment... This time snipers! Yellow Bird called us again telling us what was up, and at this point we were finished... We arrested them when we saw them on the street went to their base... Stole their shipments... A friend of mine used a wire igniter, and set their shit on fire, and left hoping they would fucking stop it. You know what they do? Attempt to crash the server. I for one am 13 and catch hell about my voice but I've also been told I'm more mature than other kids my age and feel it's stupid to act this way toward people so in the voice of chris crocker "LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE, THEIR STILL HUMAN". That is all.

I agree that not all kids are bad, but the ones who use continue to use their mics even after being asked to stop are. And there seems to be an abundance of these in this game.

Well I was on an empty building server with two of my friends. They were building a super slide and I was making a battle ship. After some long time on those jobs the little bitch comes in and starts spamming barrels. We, both being lucky to have CS:S weapons, start shooting him. He stops. Then as we get back to work and I am rotating my battle ship and fixing some minor errors so that they don't mess up and the little faggot starts spamming fences and ruins the whole thing! I didn't rage quit, since my friend told me through steam that he had a trap and I just had to kill him. I kill him, mah friend spawns a trap over spawn... and the dumb fuck starts spamming bridges from which I got the "Return" lag (the one where you move to somewhere and then it moves you back to where you were! >x( )... Seriously... I dedicated my live to finding the little bitch and sticking a metal fence [U][B]UP HIS ARSE![/B][/U]

I host a server, and a 16 year old did the complete opposite of what he SHOULD do. I'm 11, and I was in the server with my 12 year old friend (balls dropped). I told him we were going to have prop wars, he started complaining when I said he couldn't build at a specific place, then when we beat him, he started spamming bridges (listen server), so it took a while to get him banned. But we couldn't since the lag was too intense and he left.

Its not the kids that join up with decent intentions that annoy me. Ive known several show up with what they need to become very well established in gmod, but they are few and far between. A couple who beg me to teach them wire/e2 are acctually able to learn. Basically I just introduce them to the logic first, then teach them the syntax. That way they usually quit on the logic unless you have someone worth teaching, which doesnt exactly NEVER happen. its just rare. I dont belive the idiocy of the majority is any reason to forbade those who acctually come to PLAY gmod, in its true sense. On my server, I have only banned one little kid. He was 11 years old, had a very squeeky voice, loved to show it off, and was a leech. A massive leech. He was beyond teaching, just one of those "Can I have that e2/contraption that you put acctual effort in?" kinda kids. Meanwhile ive found older players to behave similarly, but they are less common. In my eyes, there are few things more repulsive then a hoverball airboat. To solve that, I usually just spawn something I made with craploads of PHX and percision alignment. They either accuse my of downlaoding it and ragequit, or just quit, probably from seeing nothing more then errors. In conclusion, it is rare to find a young player with an engineer's mind, but they exist, and we shouldn't prevent them from playing because the majoity of players in their age group lack this trait.

I tend to find my hackles go up when an unbroken voice rings over the mic. Usually because 8 times out of 10, it means a a ragdoll with a shit ton of balloons and a thruster welded to it is going to go pinging past any second. Yes there are some good kids out there. But past experience has taught me they are a rare creature.

This reminds me of the time a kid came into a server I always play in. He comes in and I get my other friends to pretend everything he does is hacking. So when he spawned a PHX Plate. We would go... "WTF WHERE DID YOU GET THAT YOU HACKER?" He would rage like crazy. "I AM NOT A HACKER!!! THIS IS NOT HACKING, IT'S A PROP!"

So im going to calmly tell you. You should have arrested them, thats kinda RDM. Just like in real life, unless they were shooting at you or they were going to shoot, you arrest them. You then STOLE the printers and weapons, which is a corrupt cop, which is against the rule on 6/9 servers. And just realize you were once a kid. As previously stated there not all like that. Its the many annoying kids who decide they want to annoy the hell out of people, that are bad.

Kid comes in to our server Wtf, why am I not an admin????!!!4444 My friends started a server and I am an admin there, why am I not here????? Since then I play gmod with friends, never on public servers.

Kids (Parents) help pay for the servers you play on, stop complaining.
