Really wierd Gmod error that makes every single menu and texture texture go purple...

It happens completely randomly, and if i try to alt-tab out so it will reload textures, the game crashes. I have no idea how t fix it, and no one else seems to be having this problem. HELP!

alt-tabbing reloads textures? never knew that but sorry for the useless post but it might be your graphics card overheating or is it just that menu

My g-card never overheats from my knowledge, but ill be sure to check. It's a 9800gtx+ with no overclocking.
