• The Analytical Engine (Request)

Wandering around some old science magazines I have in my room, I re-discovered about an article about the design of a mechanical calculating machine designed my a british man called Charles Babbage. (Link below, information on the machine) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analytical_Engine So, the question in fact is: Is it possible that this can be built in GMod? If someone wants to undertake this challenge, please do. I would like to see one of this intrincated machines working.
I'm not sure it would be possible in gmod (relies a lot on gears, and may have too many parts for the entity limit). It was never actually built, IIRC, anyways. EDIT: I did some research on it, and the Engine had over 25,000 parts, which is well over the entity limit for Source, sorry.
Yeah, that's true. But it has 25,000 parts for the whole machine, including memory banks which sum up for around 8000 parts. And some of the functionalities could be greatly reduced. It's a shame this can't be done, thoguh,
Oh well dude. I was hoping this might go somewhere :V Somebody out there would be autismal enough to do this.
Let's just hope so dude. I am not even the quarter of the guy needed to do a quarter of this shit.

Even the lesser Difference Engine is unlikely to be functional in Gmod, considering last time I checked your game will die at 2000 props or so. Hell, 500 moving, mechanical parts may kill your game.
