Hey guys, so here's my problem:

I joined a server last night that only had the PhysGun, the Tool Gun, and the Camera as selectable weapons. Since then, all I can use are those three weapons. I uninstalled and reinstalled Gmod twice, and am currently running a fresh install.
For the life of me, I can't figure out what the hell is wrong. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Hold Q
Click Utilities
Click the admin control thing
Click allow weapons or whatever it is.

Clean out some of your addons. Might have been a lua virus.

But I knew it couldn't be that simple. The allow weapons box _was_ unchecked, but when I checked it, it didn't do anything. Unless I have to restart the game for the changes to take effect.

He reinstalled.
I believe you need to suicide(in game of course) or start a new game for the change to take effect.
