Can't Adv. Dupe in the angles I would like to

I have advanced duplicator. I want to advancedly duplicate a contraption that only works when ít's pasted at the Y- direction.

However, when I try to paste it by pressing shift to make the thing look at Y-, I can't. For you see, when I press shift, instead of locking to Y-, Y+, X- and X+, it locks either slightly off or even more off.

So, my question is, how do I make my adv. dupe paster lock into the Y-m Y+, X- and X+ directions instead of somewhere else?

Well there is the paste at original angles option box. But, not sure if you can lock to one position

It seems that my adv. duplicator doesn't have a "paste at original angles" option box.

This isn't good!
