I downloaded a bunch of maps for Gmod (the one from the site that you have to buy) and i downloaded the maps from garrysmod.org and i unzip them into C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\(account name)\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons and when i go to start the game, it doesnt show the new maps i downloaded... can someone shed some light on my issue...
you gotta put the .bsp file in garrysmod/garrysmod/maps

Do i do the same for Vehical Packs? cause i downloaded a BIG vehical pack and extracted it to the same ADDONS folder and i started up the game and nothing.. i opened the objects tab and when over to vehicals and saw no new ones.... any ideas?

Btw, i put the map in the folder you meantioned and it worked. now i just need to know where i put the weapons packs and vehical packs..
