I apologize if this is in the wrong section, wasn't quite sure where to put it. Anyhow, I understand that in order to purchase Garry's Mod you need some other type of source game. I saw the Counter Strike: Source & Garry's Mod package, but I was wondering if it would provide me with the majority of the items and textures I need. What I'm probably going to focus on is building, and I really just want to know if this package will provide me with everything necessary to build. Also, I was wondering if this was the cheapest option since I'm probably never going to play Counter Strike.
Second question, I've been looking at most of the Garry's Mod forums and videos, and it looks like a great game. However, I saw a recent post saying the game wasn't a game for just anyone, and to be able to play you must have some kind of skills in programming. Is this so?
