Guys,
If you run ttt_67thway_v3_propfix REMOVE IT IMMEDIATELY.
All that has been added is:
-A secret button which promotes someone to OP
-A secret button which promotes them to SUPERADMIN
-A secret button which promotes them to OWNER
Thanks, MORE INFO

You should probably have mentioned that this only affects servers running ULX too
Yep. I found out the hard way today. Thanks for alerting people however :)
Thats pretty funny!
[QUOTE=AidanCKY;38094855]Thats pretty funny![/QUOTE]
How is that even funny?
This is a gmod lua exploit via hammer (how is that even possible?). Even though it can be easily fixed by removing entities with the classname of "lua_run" but this need to be fixed in the next publish update.

It runs console commands
Haha, checked the source, someone suggested screwing with the code so the buttons kick / ban
The amount of white knighting in this thread is disgusting.

If you knew anything about fuckin' mapping you'd know that's a shit approach.
[editline]19th October 2012[/editline]
You havta admit, choosing a popular map, decompiling it to put in rouge code, recompiling and marketing it as a "critical fix" is a great deployment strategy.
And the best part is you can't stop it, people can bitch and moan that it's "kittie scripting" when you can't even secure your own server from basic as fuck attacks.
What? Put in a script to remove lua_run entities? Yeah, that'll work. gm_construct runs on lua_run also so that'll break that map as well.
How about other Source games? Several maps (Zombie escape) rely and sending commands to the server to adjust variables, and do warning timers.
This method will be forever a cat and mouse game.

This is gold. :v:
Really Ninja101?
Are we really going back to the days of Garry's Mod 8 & "Ultimate Garry's Mod" where people complain about horrible bugs and the mods ban them?
Man, things haven't changed a bit. Instead of people complaining about sprays not working, now it's server exploits.
Maybe instead of banning, do something useful for once and tell Garry to remove lua_run.
For fucks sake, why is that even there? He already disabled point_servercommand.
[highlight](User was permabanned for this post ("Alt of a dumb user" - Gran PC))[/highlight]
You can do it Gran PC!
Maybe one day you'll do something useful for once and report the bug to Garry.
Instead of banning everyone who tries to report it.
Keep trying to cover it up though.

I'm not the one to discuss with some sort of alt-zombie who keeps coming back, but lua_run is neat for quickly running lua commands through console.
[editline]edit[/editline]
and probably a shitton less but I don't use lua too much. :v:
Genious idea.
Even though this has caused a lot of time and hassle for my server and community, I have to admit it was pretty god damn good idea. I will give kudos to the guy who did this because it was very clever and funny.
The only problem now, is every other sheep following minge will get this idea. Prepare to check everything on Steam Workshop before downloading. :)
Would this work?
[lua]for k, v in pairs( ents.FindByClass( "lua_run" ) ) do
v:Remove();
end[/lua]
yeah but there's absolutely 0 reason to use the map
I wonder when the Mac-10 in TTT will be changed to have the pistol animation with the w_model.
Because the current AR2 animation for it is bad as the gun gets obscured and it's confusing to see what weapon someone is using as it is held like a rifle.
