Voice (mic) won't work, only in gmod?

When I use my mic nobody can hear me and if I go to the voice tab and test it all I hear is static. My mic works as I use it in ts/vent and in CSS my mic works fine aswell. How come it doesn't work in GMOD but it does in css and everything else?

I tried different volumes and turning boost on and off.

try pressing the asssigned button
to see your assigned button look in keyborad and look under communicacions

What a useless post. I'm not an idiot. As I stated if I use the test feature all I can hear is static. My mic won't work in gmod but only in gmod.
