Alright, so I am using Windows Vista, I have all of the major updates but when I try to run Garry's Mod, it gets to the loading screen then goes black and says "hl2.exe Has Stopped Working" But the only thing is, I have Half-Life 2 and it runs fine! I have been to steam support and tried all of the troubleshooting methods but none of them work... Does anyone else here have a solution?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I'm new and I'm hoping I did not just spend $9.99 for a game that I can not even play...

Well, I have searched everywhere and tried everything, nothing works... I have tried reinstalling it twice and it does not help... Also, sorry for not giving a descriptive title, I was kind of in a hurry yesterday...
As for my specs:
Dell Studio 1537
Processor: Intel Core Duo CPU T6400 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
System Type: 64-bit operating system
Unless it is Vista, I do not understand why it would not work, I have played a friends version on my old computer and this one is WAY better on every level...
Ok my vista does this also , let it just sit it will respond abter a minute might even pop up a box with not responding . Choose to let it continue and it will work.
You'll be running it on an "Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator" or Intel GMA. This will likely cause problems with the game.
All I can suggest is updating your drivers if you haven't already.
