A problem with player model in third person / rt camera

computer specs:
intel core 2 duo, 2.60GHz
ram 3.00GB
operating system vista 32bit
graphics card ATI radeon HD 3600 series

As you can see I have only 1 posts. I need some help please, the problem is that when I type in third person, or look at myself in a rt camera or the other camera I can not see my player. I noticed it 2-3 months ago but then I did not care. After searching for solution I got impatience, but then I suddenly found rag morph. It allowed me to view myself when I put it on but it just was not the same. I got impatience again and now I am requesting for help. Anybody that had similar problem and solved the issue please tell me how and if you need more information about this please reply here and I will tell you more about it. Thanks.

Also I got Garrys mod with team fortress 2 but that should not be reason why I can not see myself because it works with ragmorph

Source issue. No-where in EP2 (which is game engine gmod is running on) are you ever supposed to see your own player model, so such a feature is not present.

Thanks KFrohman for response but now I just become jealous of people who can not only see them self in rt camera but record them self... =(

Hmmm.. I just remembered a video where such an occurrence happened, but it was most likely done in single player and they used regular cameras. Actually, yeah. I remember now. Only works when you use regular cameras in singleplayer.. or something... I forgot.

it did not work, none of the two camera worked I even went to the skybox where I could see the prop but not myself!! please I am still in need of help.

Try running a clean Garry's Mod.

Now you can re-install your addons (one by one preferably) and see if one is perhaps breaking the camera.

It might've been that amateur camera addon.

I deleted some of the addons that were useless but kept some, the amateur camera addon is working fine for me i can still see myself :D how ever there is a new issue i can not use mouse scroll or 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 to change weapons i can only click them from q menu to get them i tried rebinding them but it did not work.

it was fine a moment ago but then it stopped working

Try re-asigning your keys in the options menu
