How do I roleplay? - Garry's Mod

I am serious, how do i rp? I cant get the hang of it, i mean i just go into the server, what around for a bit, become a cook, make a microwave, get some people to buy my food, then get raped by someone. how do i rp properly?

You really need to find a good server to RP correctly. Look around the in the role players forum.

I fucked GMod RP. If you have "The Specialists" that's probablly the best RP, other than the fact that anyone can come in and DM randomly.

To be a good RPer, you must follow these important steps: 1. random DM 2. demote ANYONE for killing you for ANY reason 3. break into the police station at every possible moment 4. ruin someone else's fun at every possible moment 5. kill cops and the mayor at any possible moment without reason 6. call the admins abusive when they punish you for any reason

You forgot to spam votes untill your cop, then claim IM A GANGSTA COP and shoot/arrest everyone

and go into servers that don't show deaths and silence snipe everyone. Then every once in a while drop your sniper, pocket it, and suicide and complain about getting killed so they think it's not you. hehe

he is dead serious! now, on a non-serious note, you should pick a job, do it, avoid DMing and prop minging, and try to really avoid servers with minge-admins and n00bs.

Make your character have a storyline( past life, traits ) join a SeriousRP Server, roleplay your character's storyline & develop your character through roleplay(this could be adding or removing existing traits).

Find something like Cakescript, kuroscript and other ones that aren't GmodRP, DarkRP and Light RP. Avoid Dark, Light and GmodRP because. 1. They lie, It's not Roleplay. 2. It's RDM with money. 3. You'd be better off playing Counterstrike, Same thing as those so called Roleplays

LightRP isn't bad. Most fuckmuppets who ruin Dark servers have never heard of it, so you can get a good RP out of it. Just run one of the great GM9 maps with it for more fun.

ReichRp sucks, I get on and I hear about people getting raped and Pked and shit like that. DO NOT JOIN REICHRP, YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF WITH DARKRP.

My way of RPing is by not playing RP servers. It's that simple. On a side note: Advertising your shitty server won't make us come to it. It just makes us think you are desperate for players - so much so you need to spam it through every thread.

I say nearly because in GModRP there's one thing that does damage and in Light RP there might be.

Tie people up on Ventmob for no reason 8. Become a chef, make tons of food, kill the mayor and become the mayor until someone repeats step 8. 9. Car RDM 10. Donate one cent for 80K and to become SUPER ADMIN OF TEH AWESOMENESS and lord it over everyone. 11. Repeat step 4.

Admittedly it was a slighty modified version.
