Well i'm getting this error when I try to use "Find Servers" Can anyone help me? Oh, and I bought the game... Ive heard of torrented versions with the same thing going on.

Restart steam, I believe you are missing an update. :|
That's the only thing I could think of actually.
Delete the registry and Apps update .blob in your steam files, that will fix and reapply the update base, then you should be fine after that,
Wait a minute, how come my Gmod11 doesn't say Friends at the menu but your's does eh?

Steam must of A. Crashed, or B. steam is faulting up, my solution would cure this.

Uhh, no.... I've NEVER had the tab saying friends... for some odd reason.
Like I said, A crashed or b steam is faulting, up, deleting the registry and Apps update would cure this problem.
