hello i was thinking when gmod will have saving all i find my self doing now is playing with weapons i cant save my work or my buildings...

If I recall correctly Gmod had trouble with saving through the menu, like the other source games. I haven't tried to use it for a long time though.
To "save" your gameplay session hold down "Q" and go into the save tab, there should be a button to the bottom left that says save, click that to save your current session.
If you want to save a contraption or something you build, to the same thing but instead of going to the save tab, go to the dupe tab, and then go from there.
It would have been nice if save was on the main menu rather than it being hidden in the q menu.

Yea, it took me a good 10 minutes to find out where the save was actually at.
