Game crashes to desktop whenever I open my prop menu

whenever i press q to open my prop menu my cursor pops up over my crosshair and my gmod crashes to the desktop it only happens in singleplayer and i have deleted my gmod and reinstalled it already and the problem still happens i cant understand what it is i am running it with and without addons but it still wont work can someone please help me fix this problem
