I don't really know what is happening to me.
I recently bought Gmod of steam, it played good, but i got a lot of LUA errors from other peoples addons. It crashed occasionly but i couldn't be bothered to check the console.
Recently, I got the latest update, and while most lua errors have stopped, it crashes a little to much. I don't know why(noob), but it crashes alot, especially when i interact with an npc. This can be spawning, killing, or even just moving near them. I suspect it has something to do with the following:
Couldn't find scene 'scenes/npc/$gender01/sorryfm01.vcd'
Couldn't find scene 'scenes/npc/$gender01/sorryfm02.vcd'
Couldn't find scene 'scenes/npc/$gender01/sorrydoc01.vcd'
Couldn't find scene 'scenes/npc/$gender01/sorrydoc02.vcd'
Couldn't find scene 'scenes/npc/$gender01/sorrydoc04.vcd'
Couldn't find scene 'scenes/npc/$gender01/excuseme01.vcd'
(these errors aren't specificly chosen, just some of many)
These errors seem to pop up frequently in the console box, and i suspect they seem to be the cause of the constant crashing.
These errors can come up without crashing sometimes.
The crashes occur mostly with citizens, but sometimes also combine soldiers.
NOTE: i am only using the default npcs (combine, rebel, citizen), but the same issues occur when using addons.
Basically, almost everytime i do anything with an NPC, gmod crashes.

Reinstall Half-Life 2. You're missing lots of Choreography files.
Play HL2 once too, maybe that will help
Is HL2 fully installed?

yes, i did legally buy the orange box some time ago, and garrys mod last week. i have fully updated all my games, but i just uninstalled them, going to try {ABK}AbbySciuto's idea.
