So yeah I recently re-downloaded GMOD for the first time in about 2 years. It's a completely vanilla copy therefore the problem isn't caused by any dodgy addons or anything.
I've checked and I do have 'e' as the use button but I try and enter a vehicle like the buggy or a pod and nothing happens, no error messages or anything.
Oh yeah I don't know if it matters but I'm on a laptop, not ideal I know.

also, is "e" as "use" or "+use"?
yeah I've tried noclipping all around it but to no avail
+use? I just have it set as 'use (buttons, machines etc)' I can't see an alternative

Try that. I think thats right. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
yeah e is binded as +use but it still won't work :(
are you approaching it from a funny angle?
I've tried from all angles with and without noclip
Walk up to a car and in console type +use. If you get in, then it's something in your bindings (I was gonna say it's a keyboard issue, but considering you've typed E here, I doubt that's the case).
