Hello all! I'm back after my retard ban. (dont ban me for that!) But yes i have yet another question.
So when i load garrys mod it does the "new" blue loading bar and so on but when its done it shows the main menu for a fraction of a second and starts to load a single player game and i cant stop it but after it load the game it opens up the main menu with the HL2 background in the plaza and the chat box says things like "This server uses pc etc." but i have all the controls as the main menu.
did you put smod stuff in gmod?

well try deleting everything in gmod and go to recyclebin and restore it.because that worked for me

deleting the whole game files in Steamapps/username can actually fix this the process is simple
go to Steamapps/username delete garrysmod and the GCF file to it,
Go to steam and delete local content, (if steam does not respond, restart it and try again, it can be very buggy)
Re install and download it again, your addons will be deleted in the process.

No, you said to restore it right after deleting. Which won't do anything at all.
