I bought Gmod today, and whenever i join a server to play with my friends, it downloads the files normally...
but when it gets to the last file, it freezes.
sometimes it will unfreeze and i can play on the server.
recently i have waited for almost 20 mins without it unfreezing, and i have had to restart my PC!
i am getting fed up of waiting so long, and frequently restarting my PC, please can someone help me for a fix or solution to this problem,
I have Win XP SP2, and i only have PHX3 and nothing more, no addons, i have renamed my .blob file doesnt work..

I Am in Desperate need for help! someone please reply ASAP!!
There's no easy button for that. You may need to...
1. New Computer
2. Reinstall
3. Verify Cache
4. Help & Support on Valve
5.FAQ on Garry's Mod
Or just play single-player... like me
I have reintalled and it doesnt help, i don't need a new computer, everything works fine except connecting to servers..
any better ideas?
Ugh, same happened here.
