I thought it would be nice to have some corpse physics. Basically your corpse still responds to its surroundings in some ways e.g. An explosion would send your playermodels corpse flying after you're dead.
If this is possible it would be most appreciated by me and many others, I'm sure.
If this is not possible just say so.

I thought ragdolls already did go flying after an explosion?
Set up some dynamite, stand on top of it, and blow yourself up.
It does, but you can't do anything with your player model after you die.
If you were dead, would you be able to steer yourself?
:smug:
I mean when you respawn, you can't do anything with it.
Ohhh, so you want to essentially have physical on-death ragdolls, just like NPC's?
It's possible, but incredibly exploitable unless you delete the ragdoll after, like, 10-30 seconds. Also, explosion forces would be a bitch to set up on them.
ds3 created Ragmod, which does this.
How would this be exploitable, exactly?
No more than spawning NPCs and mass-killing them :P
turn on keepcorpses under the npc tab
Read Balto's post,
Tip: Get Gibsplat, and it would even deform, also get Drag shit with E mod, then you can drag your own corpse somewhere else >:D

It's exploitable in the fact that server side ragdolls aren't cheap, they use up a fair amount of processing power when they move. So someone could die a lot, and create a ton of ragdolls, which will cause teh server to lag until they are removed.
You do know that the lua code can be set up so that there's a maximum number of your own corpses?
I always used Gibsplat + Deathfix, and just turn off the gore so I can get a realistic death.
Just have the corpse ragdolls fade away eventually. Problem solved.
To sum it up for you:
1. Death = ragdoll corpse
2. Time = fading away corpses
There you go.
