GMod won't load

Gmod wont work downloaded today legally from steam with counterstrike source and the orange box tried starting it up get the vista 64-bit 'blue ring of death' and the loading box in the corner waited about 10mins nothing happened got the hl2.exe failure or something like that.

help me fix it please!
