Well, I used to play garrys mod on a different computer. I no longer have it and I now play on this one. So I dwnloaded steam, CS:S and Garrys mod. I would open garrys mod, it would load with everything looking in fine, but when the load finished the Play single player and all of those buttons were there, but th background was black and the text was over far. I fixed this by changing the resolution. I also changeds the graphics to medium and it crashed.... I'm guessing I need a new Graphics card... My flashlght also wont turn on. The frame rate is fine though. So mainly I just need to know what I should do about the graphics card. How do I find Out my current card and what new one to get.
My system:
510Mb ram (I know I need to upgrade)
2.40 GH/z
Dell Dimension DIM2400 Intel(r)
and I have direct x 9

510?! how can you even run Garry's mod? yeah, you're going to want a better graphics card. you'll notice the difference the second you open gmod up =)

well, 512mb but somewhere on my pc it said 510. thnkz tho. i know nothing about graphics tho, so which one? i dont have much money
