when ever i start gmod it says creating render targets im wondering if i need a source or can i use tf2
TF2 is a source game so Gmod should work fine.

Intel Graphics Card? That's integrated/onboard graphics, they are shit... and I need the type of processor, and 1gb ram probably doesn't get Gmod to its full potential.

I'm going to go with CoolCorky. Your PC is very weak, you need to upgrade it or get a new one.
The problem is that you're using an integrated graphics chip, your PC is also rather bad.
Get more ram and a cheap video card.
With 2gb of ram and a 256Mb video card you should be fine.
