no matter what I do I cannot get my steam account verified with gmod.org to download addons. It keeps saying failed. any suggestions. also the page is all red.

You have numbers in your custom url. Remove them, register, put them back.
I'm having problems as well. I've tried numerous times but it keeps saying "failed."
Ok, nevermind. I got it working. It turns out I just had to create a custom URL. That's a relief! :)
