I am sorry I am double posting but I really need help here.Recently just a few days ago a guy who joined everytime he caused the server to crash and never come back on unless I manually restart it.I have gotten something from the console log but I am not able to open the mdmp file.
Client "shit" connected (96.244.212.11:27005).
Dropped shit from server (STEAM UserID STEAM_0:1:17572979 is banned)
Client "shit" connected (96.244.212.11:54652).
And he keeps on connecting untill the server crashes.It takes him about 4 joins.
I have manually banned the guy 1 day ago by getting his steam id and putting it into banned_user.cfg but its not helping.Please I need help
He's probably using that client disconnect message exploit to do it.
Try adding his IP address (96.244.212.11) to your firewall (the Windows Firewall, or whatever firewall program your using) if you have the access to do that.
well the server is hosted on a gameservers hoster.Also is there any sort of fix or something to prevent this?
Shut the server down for a few days. He'll probably forget about it after a week.

But his IP changes every time like 96.244.212.11:27005 to the 96.244.212.11:54652.The port keeps on changing so how can i perm ban his id when his port changes all the time.
Ban his IP range? I'm not sure how you do it in GMod but you could ban his IP range such as 96.244.*.*

Not sure if it's the right commands, but it's the right idea.

His IP is [b]static[/b].
Port does not mean he has a dynamic IP. At least try something before kicking it down.
The thing is I banned that one guy but another one came (probably his friend) and crashed the server.
Report him to steam XD
