Well I haven't been playing Gmod for like 2 months. I felt like going back to it cause it's always fun to play with, but ever since a couple of updates my game been acting weird. Like when I join a game and wait I could still see the side like "Disconnect, Player List, Find Server", etc. I've played Gmod fine without a problem just starting today when I wanted to go back to it.
