i had Gmod 10/11 before on my Xp but that computer died and had too wipe it. I have a new computer coming with PROCESSOR Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E8400 3GHz, 1333FSB, 6MB OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows® 7 Professional 64bit Edition MEMORY 4GB (1X4GB) HARD DRIVE 500GB SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive with Native Command Queuing VIDEO CARD NVIDIA GeForce GT220 1024MB DDR3 now its no crysis runner (on max) or anything but it will run Gmod, orange box ect. Have I missed and great leaps on Gmod history? And ive heard that Windows 7 sometimes doesnt work with gmod if it does that mean i have too use the (XP) mode. HA me and my dumb questions. I may be a newb at this but i know this Gmod is great fun newbs like me post lots of these. I know my computers. So don't think im "dumb" in that area Thanks. P.S will this run Gmod on max with a bunch of NPCs,props, Ect.
If it can run Crysis on any graphics level, I doubt it'll have a problem with Garry's Mod.
That should run gmod fine. I've had that processor and I just compared it to a 9800GT (had a 8800GT but it's the same with just an added chip or something), and while the graphics is slightly less than my old card, it should work fine. I Ran it on max before besides the AA which I keep at 4-8x as anymore is just overkill imo.
That will run Gmod perfectly fine.
okay, ive heard horribly things about this card saying that it is well...horible is this true? and Can i have my steam acount on two computers?
and Can i have my steam acount on two computers?
Not online, you can have one logged in as offline and one as online, or two logged in as offline, but they will not be able to play in the same game. I can also tell you that Garry's Mod runs great on Windows 7, and since it's 64 bit you can put the additional ram to good use. Your 220 GT ins't exactly overkill for this game, but it should be able to handle it on max without any problems, rest looks fine. Happy gaming :v:

lol i 100% bet you can run gmod
the crashing is not because of your computer its bc of Gmod... i thought i should tell him now instead of later
your techspecks are very similiar to mine, I'd say you'd have no probem running it on high detail with maybe some anti-aliasing. Running it with anti-aliasing might get slow if you spawn alot of props or stress it out but it might not.
Do you just show off your pc?
Yes
