Okay, so I just got gmod and i was using the wheel tool. I cant change the direction of the wheels even when i press my use key.(e) Can anyone help?
Does E work on anything else as a use key?
Are you sure e is your use key?
Is the wheel a wired wheel?

But my only possible solution is that if you find E does not work as a use key for anything then you'll have to go to your options menu and re-bind the key to E or a chosen key again. Or thinking again...it might be possible that a addon could be colliding with the tool but i think thats un-likely.
I am able to use my use key for things such as getting in cars. I just cant change the movement of which way the wheel moves for some reason.
Assuming you have [B]legally purchased gmod through steam[/B], have you downloaded any addons that could interfere with this?
i don't think so since i tried before i got any addon content

Anyway if theres any chance of it being a addon then you need to clear your garrysmod directory.

Well if you were to use your brain for something esle, but flaming you would have realised that if your standing too far from the wheel you cant change the direction and if there is something in the way (like something coloured transparent or something else like that) you also cant change the direction!

i think that was it cause i had to get all the way close to the wheel for it to work
